Goals and Objectives
This branch leverages current relationships between Penn and the West Philadelphia community to present to local civic organizations, senior citizen groups, and schools, tailoring content to issues that specifically affect attendees. These presentations are conducted in conjunction with the Attorney General’s Office, City Council, or local lawmakers. Community Outreach also hosts workshops to assist Philadelphia residents who have fallen victim to scams or fraud by sharing information regarding the resources that are available to them as well as how to effectively utilize such resources.
